Dr. Tom Rothwell is a 1976 graduate of the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University and practices at the Paris Hill Cat Hospital. A self-described cat-focused scientist, Dr. Rothwell holds a PhD in Paleontology from Columbia University and the American Museum of Natural History where he studied the fossil record of the earliest cats to enter North America 16 million years ago. Today, Dr. Tom lectures and publishes scientific articles on the evolution of the cat and its effect upon veterinary medicine and surgery.
